Methods of Giving

  1. 1. Donate online:
                     a. Make a secure donation via ACH, Credit Card or Wire Transfer.
  2. 2. Send a Check:
                     a. Make checks payable to the Opportunity Scholarship Fund. Mail to OSF, Attn: Gift Processing, 7633 E 63rd Place, Suite 300, Tulsa, OK 74133Important: Checks mailed to the Opportunity Scholarship Fund (OSF) must be POSTMARKED by December 31. The OK Tax Commission (OTC) requires Tax Credit Scholarship Programs (like OSF) to report donations on January 10, of the following year.
  3. 3. Utilize IRA-required minimum distribution:
                     a. If you’re over 72 years old, the required minimum distribution from your IRA can be donated to OSF tax-free.
  4. 4. Transfer appreciated stocks:

If the marketable stock, bond, or mutual fund is held at Schwab, complete either the ‘Check and Internal Transfer (Journal) Request Form’ (if donor has an investment advisor) or the ‘Move Assets from My Schwab Brokerage Account’ (if donor does not have an advisor).
