Student Council

Rejoice Christian School offers Student Council opportunities for students in grades 5th through 12th. Through Student Council, students learn teamwork, leadership, and life skills while advancing their walk with Christ.

The RCS Middle School Student Council volunteers at nursing homes, organizes special middle school events, and represents the middle school student body. The RCS High School Student Council leads high school students by organizing formal events, donating items to others in need, and by representing the high school student body.

Mr. Paul Underwood is the RCS Middle School Student Council Advisor, and Mrs. Angela Wilkes is the RCS High School Student Council Advisor.

National Honor Society

RCS high school students who meet all National Honor Society (NHS) requirements are eligible to join the Rejoice NHS Chapter. National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization recognizing outstanding high school students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. NHS  is proudly sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP). The NASSP-the preeminent organization and national voice for school leaders-also sponsors the National Association of Student Councils (NASC), which promotes and provides leadership development opportunities to prepare and empower students to serve their schools and communities.

The RCS Honor Society Chapter is governed by two sets of documents: The National Constitution and the local chapter bylaws. The NHS National Constitution was developed and monitored by the National Council that serves as the governing body of the national organization.
