Theatre

Home Theatre

Founded in 2011, RCS Theatre seeks to worship the Lord through art. Theatre is a place of belonging, exploration, and collaboration. Recently, the RCS stage has grown to include both plays and musicals, as well as radio plays. With classes ranging from Acting to Musical Theatre to Technical Theatre, there’s something for everyone. Each show features exciting choreography, challenging music, relatable characters, and imaginative sets and costumes.

Class Offerings by Grade:

  • 6th Grade: Theatre Foundations
  • 7th & 8th Grade: MS Acting
  • High School: HS Acting, Musical Theatre, Technical Theatre

“Our vision is to lead young artists to encounter both the creativity inside themselves and the Creator who put it there (Ex 35:35). All art is worship, and as theatre-makers, we hope to tell stories in a way that pleases the Lord and reflects His imagination to the world. Theatre is built upon relationships; as such, we strive to cultivate an atmosphere of belonging. Students make friends here that just get them. There’s a place for everyone, no matter your personality, and that’s such a beautiful representation of the Kingdom!”
